WEEKLY DEVOTIONAL
WEEK FOUR
Who is Jesus?
This is the foundational question of our faith. How we answer that question is very important - it determines how we view Jesus, our relationship with Him, and how we understand our life in the context of eternity. There are a lot of beliefs out there about Jesus - some people say He was a nice person who told others to be kind to each other. Some say that He was one of many prophets. Some say He was the leader of a political/religious movement. Others question whether He even existed.
But we believe Jesus is so much more than all those things. Jesus is fully God and fully man. Jesus is the savior of the world - our King. We also believe He's personal - He knows us and loves us deeply. Today we're going to dive a little deeper into what this means for us as followers of Jesus.

PREPARE YOUR HEART:
Start by focusing your mind on Jesus. Find a quiet, comfortable place where you can be free from distraction. Take a few deep breaths and ask Jesus to open your mind and heart to what He has for you today.
READ:
Read these three passages:
John 3:16-17; John 14:6; John 10:10
REFLECT:
Who is Jesus to you?
What do you think Jesus means when He says that He is the way, truth, and life? What does it look like for you to live your life in a way that acknowledges that He is the way/truth/life?
Jesus says that He wants to give us a "rich and satisfying life" - what does He mean by that? What do you think is included in this rich and satisfying life?
PRAY:
Finish your time by focusing back on Jesus. Spend a couple minutes talking with Him – what’s been great? What’s been tough? What are you grateful for?
